This photo is just an example ,it's not the engine of my cord.
I know for the intake standard model on this picture.

So my question is just for the exhaust manifold,in your response you tell me exhaust manifold A90883 for 125"Wheelbase and A90884 on 132"
It's just a different casting number or the manifold have another form?

Replied by Jonathan Richards on topic CORD ENGINE PHOTO IMAGE
Dear Sir:
The photo image you have displayed on this thread shows a Cord Model 810 or 812 Lycoming V-8 engine to which are appended a standard aluminum intake manifold ( Lycoming casting #F3600GA / Cord Part #
A90780 ) and a pair of exhaust manifolds which are either Cord Part #
A90883 ( F2400D ) or A90884 depending on whether they are installed on a Standard 125" wheelbase chassis or a Custom 132" wheelbase vehicle.
The hood side vent grilles shown appear to be the second series units
which appear to have been installed on supercharged vehicles commencing
with Serial # 32061 in late March , 1937. If you can identify the engine
number on this block on the boss , just forward and below the left side cylinder head , you may know more about this power plant. A prefix of FB
would indicate a standard engine and prefix of FC would be a supercharged
engine. Is this a photo image of a Cord you own? Hope we can help you
further with your inquiry. Sincerely, Jonathan ( Jack ) Richards at Red Oak,
Iowa , U.S.A. aka <a href="mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url]
