Hello and Congrats on your Cord purchase. The best advice to give you would be for you to locate and purchase the proper EE-15 carburetor. They are still fairly available at a reasonable cost and will save you from dealing with the issue. It will also eliminate the investment in rebuilding the wrong unit. The ACD Club has many members who are willing to help and are as close as this website or at a local ACD meet in person. Best of luck to you.

My recently purchased 36 Cord has an EE 16 carburetor that was obviously installed many years ago. Are there significant differences between the EE 15 and 16 besides the automatic choke? With the car in a non-running condition, I have not been able to evaluate it. Any advice would be appreciated.
