Did you notice that on the steeringboxtop, the spring should be depressing between the ferrule with the gasket to keep it tight aginst water ingress and the Ring with the setscrew.
I'm sure you have changed this by now, nice job otherwise. Regards Philipp

Did anyone notice this is a Supercharged Westchester with a bustle trunk like a Beverly - a rare bird as they say ?

Classic and Exotic Service Inc. offers throttle shafts for a few Stromberg's. You might check with them if they will make you one.

Thanks I have no idea about the frame.... the vin matches the car. This car was about 98 percent complete... but that 2 percent has been interesting and I am still looking.

I thought I would share some progress photos! I purchased this car about 7 months ago here in California and with a lot of club members help it is coming along.

This is 31804 A FC 2513. It was previously owned by Edward Burchman. Retains all it's original drive train but has been sitting for decades. Interior is almost done and we painted it last week.

Engine is being rebuilt and I am currently working on the wiring.
