Bendix brakes was created by T_Hussey
Hi,
The Bendix brake design uses six springs on each wheel. There are two return springs, two hold down, one for the adjuster... What is the function of the sixth spring? It looks to be some sort of auxiliary return for the leading shoe, pulling from the shoe to some sort of bracket on the backing plate.
