I do not think any lubricant will stop your leak. You must remove it from the engine and re-build it. Sorry for the bad news.

Gents- The Cord is back home and looking great! Fuel pump diaphragm started leaking-burst actually, and good friend Tom Hartz directed me to "Then and Now Automotive", 447 Washington St., in Weymouth, MA 02188, Phone 781-335-8860 and I recommend them highly for fuel pump repair! They are the experts-using Buna-N Nitrile rubber which resists today's fuels. Ask for Michael.
On another point I'm finding some water dripping from the water pump and I hope someone can direct me to a lubricant which might slow down any shaft leaking.
Thanks in advance,
Pete Rhoads
