Still hoping to hear back from the dealer. Hopefully mr Irwin can shed some light. The actual engine number is FC3242. I know most of you dont care, but for those helping I wanted to give you an update! Thanks again for the help!!!
I saw this car in Dallas in 2004 or 2005. It was in a shop over on Harry Hines Drive. It has a rumble seat, but it was not original. After doing some homework, I found out that the rumble seat had been fabricated. I posted this fact on these forums back then. The shop owner was livid as he was sending it to auction in Oklahoma I believe.
He threatened to sue me if I didn't take down my comments. I believe the doors were also done by a club member. I'll check my sources again.
We have photos of this car when it didn't have the rumble seat.

This is my first post and I'm glad to be a part of this forum. Alot can be learned on my part I am sure! Im a younger guy who works for a private car collector on my days off. He has a 1936 Cord 810 that he is wishing to obtain information on, or at least a backround history. The engine number of the car is FB1695 and the serial number is 2306. The car is a 2 door convertible, and also has a ruble seat, retrofitted supercharger, and custom doors that are very similiar to a Darrin Cord. If anyone can offer me ideas, direction, or information, it would be GREATLY appreciated. He also has a beautiful 1933 Auburn 12 that I will post about at a later time. Thank you all again, and I look forward to learning more about these amazing vehicles
