810/812 door handle clips?

Through an absolute miracle I was able to find a very small quantity of NOS bezels. I'm keeping a set for myself and for my dad's Cabriolet. Will sell the rest at Hershey if anybody needs a set. CT-22/23.

This was a repair I came up with when I began restoring my first Cord. This clip was used on most General Motors cars in the sixties and early seventies. It is used to hold the door lock in place.

A.J. The article you need is in Tech Talk , 2002 #7 ,page 14 . It mentions
a 1968 Camaro but no part #.

Somewhere buried in past newsletters is a suggestion for using a GM door handle retention clip. It is U shaped and passes through a slot in the door to engage with slots in the inner-projecting portion of the handle. You do need to cut the slots. I believe a Camaro part number was given.

Is anyone reproducing the spring loaded clips which keep the exterior door handles in the door? I need them for a conv but I assume the sedans are the same. Does not seem like the greatest design in the world.
