Hollywood created the topic: Can you name this part?
I was wonder if anyone can tell me what this unit is and what car it was from?
Also what it's value is........$$$
I have acquired many parts from an estate sale, and I could use some help identifying some things.
TIA,
Mr. Hollywood ...

John-
This is a complete Cord transaxle with shift cylinder, solenoid, and all.
The value depends greatly on condition. It could be rebuilt as it looks very good but that term covers quite a bit of territory! I'd give it a range of $3,000 to $5,000 based on condition.
Near the mounting base for the main shift cylinder on top you should find a serial number and maybe the gear ratio. This would further help identify it's application.
