Gary where did you see it? Did you get any pictures?
I just had a look in The Timeless Class and sure enough there are a few Westchesters listed with a Bustle trunk, like most Beverlys. The first listed has Serial No 812 1622 A then there are eight more. Never noticed this before.

In Italy we saw and went for a ride in a Custom Beverly that was supercharged but did not have the outside pipes and it had the Fastback trunk. I believe this unique Cord was built for EL's son Charles.

Thanks Terry. The car I saw had a leaded in Bustle trunk. This was why I asked the question. No the research begins..

Gary I don't think any Westchesters were fitted with a Bustle trunk however a few were fitted with the bolt on trunk extension.
Attached are some examples which may in fact be the same car at the Factory and in recent times.
