I’m tired of looking at grease on my outer cv bells.
Can anyone describe what the original leather seals in early brass screw in rings look like, and how they are fitted ?.
I originally fitted an o ring in the shallow internal groove, but am thinking maybe leather would be a better seal. Both bells were CNC machined from billet and cadmium plated, so they aren’t the problem.
