There is no plunger hole. Just the holes for the detent balls. Very early case that was never updated for the safety plunger. Have one in stock

]Theres a transmission case on ebay for around $700.00 and I was wondering why it has the lockout plunger holes drilled.. But NOT the plunger hole or the rib ground or machined off? It has the bolt in the top passenger side to hold fast the idler shaft. Any ideas as to this case or its history? I'm not a buyer. Just wondering as you the whys mentioned.
