The original jack deformed the bumper bars before the wheel was raised.
In most cases the jack was replaceded by a simple screw jack.

I have the base and shaft but not the mechanism to lift the car. Did any other jacks use anything close to the jack head? probably not but worth asking. of course someone might have that part only hidden in the back of their garage and will part with it. Just curious...
