Diaphragm Stroke AC Type B Fuel Pump was created by Terry Cockerell
My Cord is fitted with the fuel pump located at the RHS of the engine. The pump is an AC Type B.
There is some wear at the push rod contact area of pump. Cranking the engine over with the top of the pump removed I measured the diaphragm stroke and found it to be 8.5 mm or 0.335"
When the car was on the road before the restoration began it starved a bit for fuel on steep hills.
Can anybody tell me what the diaphragm stroke should be?????????????
I found the exploded parts view drawing on the Internet. There is no mention of what the stroke should be.
