With the modified internal wiring of the Startix checked .......... she clicks with power.
With the push button wired up the motor cranks.
The time is getting closer.

Sorry to be a pest but I have one last question.
As the restart function has been isolated within the Startix box, can the cable from the generator be attached to the Generator terminal just for looks?

Thanks for you prompt reply.
One more question.
Is the blue cable still connected between the Ignition terminal and the Clutch Switch ?
Thanks,
Terry

When I make this modification, my starter button is stand alone. I get the power to the push button from the power ON terminal on the ignition switch. The feed side of the push button switch is wired to go to the ignition terminal on the startix.

Wiring A Push Button Into The Startix System was created by Terry Cockerell
I need help to install a Push Button into the Startix System.
I have eliminated the Startix restart function by modifying the internal wiring of the box.
The cable to the generator terminal has been disconnected and taped up.
I assume the Blue cable from the Clutch Switch is still connected to the Ignition terminal on the Startix box ???
Do you simply run an extra cable back to the Push Button which is grounded???
Please advise.
