Suspension parts needed

Gary, the five surviving Cords that were originally sold new in Australia were never fitted with the safety "U" bolts or had the Frances Langford "gussets" welded to the rear axle. The dealer network failed the customers miserably.
I know of one Cord that had a front wheel come off and I have also seen a front hub that had been welded back together. The early roads here in Australia were atrocious.

Yes indeed - I’ve got a pair of the high tensile bolts ready to go. I don’t think I’d put the car back together without them.

I strongly suggest you replace the long suspension bolts. The original bolts broke causing all kinds of trouble. Stan in Wellington Kansas has everything you need to safely drive your car. I purchased everything from him a few years ago.
