Curt
Both the 8-98 and 8-100 parts books list a cylinder head thermostat.
I used a 160 degree one and drilled my own hole for a bypass.
Unfortunately, I can't find my receipt in the giant stack of paper.
It was a Stant and I cross referenced it to the recessed diameter in the head.

Do the 8-98's use a standard type thermostat and do they normally need a circulation hole drilled in them?
