Ken Most likely one of the early owners tinkered with this car , not uncommon. But yes for fifty dollars you could get about any color you wanted. I am not aware of any done this way by the factory , but there were some definately done early on Randy

I was looking at a 1932 Auburn 8-100A unrestored original, The question that I have, is the chassis is red ,the body two-tone lightbrown. inside the rear fenders also red. Were these cars under the same statement as the Cord L-29. any color you wanted???
