Thank you for putting me on to Fremont in Ohio. They did a great job for me on the fan hub and it looks great. They also lined my front brake shoes and got everything back to me quickly.

I second Greg's thoughts about Fremont. They'll do the work on your hub, fast turnaround to boot.

Thank you for the quick replies.
Greg, I noticed a couple of Fremont Auto Parts online. Is the one that made your replacement hub the one listed below?
Fremont Auto Parts Inc.
402 Justice Street
Fremont, OH 43420
Owner John Forsight
Phone: (419) 332-8296
Web: Napaonline.com
I like the idea of having one with bearings.
Thanks,
Troy

I love that old original technical details.
Just in case you don?t want to convert into modern bearings: I made good experience with Flame Spraying.

Radiator Fan shaft wear was created by olvette64
Hello,
On my 1931 898-A I have a good amount of wear on the radiator fan shaft where the fan hub rides it. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck repairing or building up the shaft to eliminate the play?
Thanks
TR
