I used Buchanan to re-lace all of my wheels. They did an excellent job, carefully mapping the configuration and then manufacturing new spokes and rebuilding. I had a friend who owns a commercial tire shop deal with mounting the tires using the split rings - too much risk for a novice.

Thanks, I did contact them, waiting for an answer.
I already asked Buchanan spokes 4 days ago, didnt get an answer until now.

The original spoke size is 4g (7/32" or 5,7mm). In Europe nobody is able to supply this size.

I bought my spokes from Dayton Wire Wheel in Ohio. Not sure if they originally made these wheels, but they should know the size you require. :)

wire wheels - spokes - rings was created by 61xlch
Hello, its me again with 2 more questions... <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Does anybody know a supplier for the wire wheel spokes, who already made these spokes? In this case this supplier could have already the correct dimensions and doesn?t need the old spokes as a sample.

Did anybody already work with the "snap rings" (what is the correct english word for these rings, which safe the tire at the rim?)
My rings are expanded, and I would like to bring these rings back in their correct shape.

Thanks
Andreas
