The NOS carb ended for a reasonable price.
Whats up with the OE Shebler carbs? Any problems known with these?

There's two on ebay right now, one purported to be NOS: item # 110925568526, the other used # 170884709769.

You don't want to know what I paid for mine @ Hershey a number of years ago. It was a very good investment apparently.

Michael:

Why are you replacing your original carb with a Carter?
Is the OE carb for sale?
I would like to replace my Carter Carb with an original Shebler carb.

I need a Carter BB1 (updraft) Model # 289-S or 289-SD to replace my original carburator. Do you know where I might find one ??? Thanks, MA :
