Tim,
I sent you an email and if you send me a few pictures, I would be interested.

I have access to a 1932 single speed differential. As far as I know, it is complete and undamaged.
Please advise.

Tim Gilmartin has an Auburn single speed rear differential & contents. I will point him to this thread so he can possibly give you some answers.

Columbia Single Speed Axles... was created by Gerczak
All,
I have been doing some research and it has pointed me to the Auburn experts because it is my understanding that Auburn purchased Columbia Axle back in the day. I am working on a 1928 Kissel Car that has a full Columbia Axle that has 51/10 axle (5.1 ratio). I am in the process of rebuilding it and I noticed a few issues, specifically the ring gear. I know Auburn used 2-speed Columbias but did they also use single speed Columbia Axles? Was the 51 tooth ring gear common and are they available? Did they make a single speed diff with a better ratio? Any available? Is there anything else that will fit it?
I intend to use the axle housing because I want to use the wheels/brakes/etc. I plan to have a new driveshaft made so if the diff is shorter or longer would not be a problem. I appreciate any information/leads in advance.
