That is the case since they were not created. In 1935, coupes were made accessible
.
Cabriolets were converted at the manufacture. Long after the sweetness of a low price has been forgotten, the bitterness of poor quality still lingers.

That is because they did not make them. Coupes became available in 1935. The factory converted cabriolets .

Hi All! Just joined the boards! Trying to gather as much information as I can about this vehicle
.
I have no luck finding 850Y in 2-door coupes, but I can in 4-door convertibles. Any thoughts? Any suggestions for information sources? Very much appreciated!

What I am looking for more than anything is a breakdown of the 1934's in general. When you research the 850y, you can find 4 door hartops, 4 door convertibles, and 2 door convertibles, yet I see nothing as far as a 2 door hardtop 8. In total 7275 Auburns were produced that year.. what are the breakdowns of each?

Is there something specific to the brougham you are looking for? 95% of your car is the same as the other 1934 body styles and 85 % the same as all 34-36 Auburns. You might want to visit a site I put together : auburnsmidwest.com
where much of the car is documented.

What would you be interested in ?
And I saw the car over at the V-8 Museum Sunday and the problem the owner is more than likely face is that the car has been sitting outside and/or in poor storage (it has really gone downhill since I first saw it maybe 2019-ish) matched to Broughams not being most peoples first choice in body style (I am not sure that I have such as production numbers, though while the Broughams were fairly common when new, albeit over time they have became more rare as eveyone's favorite parts cars for Convertible Coupes and Phaetons left few survivors).
