The rods from each side of the firewall connect the center radiator tounge.
The shell connete tto the radiator via the smaller brackets on the sides of the radiator.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Brackets on top of 851 radiator was created by yorkgulch

Were the brackets on top of radiator ever used to attach to support rods or radiator surround ? I have radiators those brackets and without. I saw one 851 with the rods connected to them but all other cars had rods connected to grill surround.
