I would think adding spacers without changing the shocks would level the car without affecting the ride but the coils would still cause sag over time.
I would talk to a real spring shop and get their opinion.

depending on the car the coils are from some supliers have variable rear coils as weight is added the coil is at a point with more coil windings Did this on my 1993 Lincoln Town car- no more sagging when extra weight is added.

Auburn 866 Rear Coil Sag was created by [email protected]
It appears when engine was moved back or axle moved forward more weight was placed on the rear without the coils being upgraded. After 50,000 miles mine have sagged. Added spacers under coils and added air shocks creating a harsh ride. Has anyone addressed this situation? Am considering adding air bags in place of coils.
