Hi, can't be much to a 71 Dodge p/u chassis. Doesn't matter what body is on top, check bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. Good luck

I'm sorry, you see, as a Replicar this Dusy is built on a Dodge Truck chassis. 1971.
I've been reviewing the Sweptline Forums looking for clues. Tis a Puzzlement.

If it burns fuel and makes noise I want to see it.

I am serious; that worked for Bob McEwan on his Cord coupe.

Would that be attached to the Reciprocating Dingle Arm in the Turbo Encabulator?

Well, we increased the caster. Rebuilt the Power Steering Control Valve. Now we've started rebushing all points and have ordered new tires, these are a bit old. Sounds like we're on the same page.
Thanks Mike.

Check all front end measurements. If that doesn't work shim the front axle, if it has a axle. Start with 3 degrees. Shims available at Summit Racing.
CORDially Mike

Duesenberg Steering was created by Jay
Have a 1971 Duesenberg II built on a Dodge Pick up chassis.  Steering develops a terrible shimmy after hitting a bump.  Death wobble, violent shaking, have to come to a complete stop.

Anybody else have this problem?  What did you do?

Thank You.
