My dad, Jim Kaboos, used to own the molds that are now at Prototype Research in Canada. He has one complete body on a chassis that he is interested in selling. If you are interested, he is listed inthe club directory.

A fellow named Price made the molds for the Cabriolet bodies off of a real one he had in his shop for restoration. He completed 2 cars in 1981 before he died. One with a Chevy small block and the other with a Ford small block which is the one I have.. Don Loux worked for him and bought the molds and completed a few turn key cars. There were a few bodies from Price also that were not assembled. The molds now reside in Canada, owned by a company called Prototype Research Ltd. which advertises in the ACD newsletter. It is owned by a David Carlaw.

I think the SE replica were phaetons. They made less than a dozen cars I think. The molds were in the hands of Scott Kaboos in Michigan and I had one of his complete bodies and 2 sets of fenders.
The cabriolet was made by Don Loux in California for a number of years as complete cars and kits
I think both phaeton and cab bodies are now sold out of Canada.

Glenn Prey made a Cord replica called the 8/10. It was 80% of the size of the original Cord. It used a Corvair engine.
Southeastern replicas also made a replica car. They are the best version replica as I understand it as they are very faithful to the original look.I’m sure there were others but I’m not a Cord collector. Hopefully others will add extra info
