I videoed these conversations at a Eastern Meet. When they knew they were being videoed and being asked questions they were somewhat reserved. But when they thought the camara was off they opened up. That was the best part of the interview. The camara was NOT off.

I remember taping these videos at the East Meet many years ago. Wish we continued this so many of our newer members could have enjoyed many of our other past members.

Pat the first time my wife and I attend the Auburn Meet which was in 2011 we spoke to Bob McEwan and Ric Simpson on the Friday night outside the Auburn Hotel.
Bob remembered my Cord from the early days and Rick Simpson told us how he was a passenger in it travelling to Auburn in 1957 with Bill Horning who was the owner at the time. There are so many stories out there to be saved pity they can't all be recorded.
