I have and 812 that falls in the realm of the renumbered cars at the end of 1936. It has an FC block, with charger and an AA25 carb. I also have one of Stans adapters for the 3 inch base. When I put putty above where the air cleaner bolt goes thru I have about 1 to 1 1/2 inches hood clearance. Any one figured out an after market or have an original air cleaner. The base is is going to have to be recessed and the lid pretty flat.
