I found what appeared to be a perfect AutoLite cut out for my 36 Auburn generator. Unfortunately, the coil was not functioning when it was tested. My local generator guru suggested that I install a diode into the existing Autolite part. This turned out to be a great solution, so I figured I would pass this knowledge on. Now functions like a champ.
