The ACD Club is rolling out a new online membership system. All ACD Club Members should have receivied an email with enrollment instructions. You will use your email address as your login, and select a new password. This account will be used to renew your membership, update membership information, and make changes to your membership record.


This account is NOT THE SAME as your current account which you use to access the ACD Website Forums. Please continue to log into the Forums with the same username and password as you have always used. In the future we may consolidate the two accounts.

Flywheel torque specs was created by ilikescars
I believe the torque for flywheel bolts should be 60 ft lbs, but I'm not sure. Also, the parts book calls for lock washers, but thread locker might be a better idea for this. Looking for other people's experience

Mark, you will not find any torque specs for anything in the technical bulletins. Torque wrenches were not available until WWII
The book calls for lock washers , use new ones.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

If you eliminate lock washers for Loctite products you may end up with bolts that are too long and bottom out or interfere with something else. If you want to use Loctite go ahead. but use lock washers too if called for.
