I just picked this L-29 up from nearly 60 years of sleeping in a garage (Dorrace Perry), the previous owner had built. He had bought the L-29 in the thirties, drove it until 1945, on the last trip from New Haven Ct. to Manchester N.H. , Dorrace told his daughter in later years that the car had burned to much oil ( 1 qt on that trip ) so instead of damaging the engine, he decided to take it off the road until he could fix the situation. BUT! while in waiting! somone vandalised the L-29. Upsetting Dorrance to the point that he never took the L-29 out of storage. Dorrace was born 1905 and passed on in 1997 at 92 years.
