What happened to Zoey? All grown up. They tend to do that.

You guys look stunning dressed in period clothing. It finishes the Cord so well. Nice to see Actonite in the shade too.

Show Time at Maitland Steam Fest was created by Terry Cockerell
A major event here in Australia is called Steam Fest. It is held in Maitland, New South Wales. The focus is mainly on steam trains and all sorts of steam powered vehicles and engines. A big car show is also included. My granddaughter Zoey accompanied me, with both of us suitably dressed for the occasion. It was the first showing of the Actonite Cord since "almost" completing the restoration. The rear fender stone guards are yet to be made and fitted. Most of the people at the show had never seen a Cord and were delighted to check it out up close and personal. Incredibly it was the only car among the hundreds present with the trunk open for inspection. We took the liberty of displaying the car with the American and Canadian flags due to its connections. A lot of people bowed down to inspect the trunk ........................................... and pay homage!
It was a great day out and the first of many more.
