Tim, the tour is a wonderful idea may I suggest it visits Connersville?
I wish I could come along and maybe share the driving.

Hi Mike: Yes, slower cars could be a problem. However, if one starts out early, goes at ones own speed, then you would arrive pretty much with everyone else. CCCA says exactly that, and stay ahead of the trouble truck.

Hi Tim, All for the Tour. Since there are many years of ACD cars the tour should set what the sustained speed will be. Having gone on many tours over the years it is no fun to go on a tour when the cars are going 60MPH and you can't keep up and come in a couple hours after every one else. I realize this will probably eliminate people with slower cars.
But a least they will know up front.

Road Tour 2021? was created by Tim Gilmartin
Hello all : Jim O’Brien and I have been discussing a possible road tour in 2021, the 85th anniversary of the Cord 810. Recall the successful “Cord Convoy” of 2011. Jim has his ideas; I have mine. We are requesting other member’s ideas and comments on what, when, where, and how a road tour for all ACD cars could be accomplished. Your ideas and comments - please.
Thank you!
Tim.
