Here are some picture of a portable custom CD radio I made up to place on the floor of my Westchester. It's a kind of upmarket Gramophone with some Art Deco style.
You can listen to period music while driving, leave it on at car shows for atmosphere or bring it along to picnics.
A solid state battery sits between the speakers.

I listen to popular music from the 1930s and 40s while working on the restoration of my Cord .......................... it helps to Keep Me In The Mood!
Great music to listen to while driving as well.
Can't wait to fire up the Cord.

Hello Albert,

I am glad that you like the music.

If you like to see/hear Max Raabe & Palast-Orchester live in a concert, they perform in Austin, TX @Bass Concert Hall on April 6th.

Cheers

Hello,

for someone out there who likes (Big?) Band "POP-Song" out of the age your ACD-Cars were build, has to attend a concert of "Max Raabe and his Palast Orchester". I love that stuff, great music, great performance and show!

He is on tour in the USA and Canada in April. The Tour-Dates you will find here www.palast-orchester.de/en/

Here are some american "voices" about him and his music

Actress Julianna Margulies about him

US-Radio feature and interview

Here are some "Live-Music" Clips of Max Raabe & Palast Orchester, hope you enjoy it!
