Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was a bit of a big decision I had found out that a local car collection that had been building since 1956 was possibly going to auction and was able to sneak in with a no hassle offer and take the entire collection. It will be very good for my business and after the dust settles I plan to keep at least a dozen cars out of it. best part it all was 20 min up the road and I do not have to deal with customs at the border being a Canadian.

Some people start with a 6 cyl Auburn sedan and " move up" from there.
You sir have definitely "stepped up" with your acquisitions!
It must have been an awesome garage sale! <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

It sounds like you now have a most awesome collection of ACD cars.

Do you have any pics to share?

Best regards, Joel

Hello,

I found a facebook-picture that shows the Cord, the Auburn and two Model J.

@vintagerodshop: Congretulations! It is a nice collection on the photo!

Do you like to tell what car (No?) the second Model J (DCP?) on the photo is?

Cheers

Matt

Hi Kirk:
this is a nice entry, indeed.
Hopefully you still have some Bucks for your Christmas Meal <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->
Would like to see pics too.
Enjoy your cars.

Hi, My name is Kirk Stevenson. I am happy to say that I am the proud new owner of some great cars I purchased from a long time collector about 20 mins from my house. I look forward to being more of a part of this club and hopefully attending some meets. My new additions are a 1930 L-29 Cord Cabriolet, a 1932 Auburn 8-100A Boat tail, a 1932 Auburn 12-160A coupe convertible, and Duesnberg J491x. I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can get out on the road. I will also admit I don't fit as well as i would like in the Cord but I have a few months to work on that. I had been coveting the Auburn Boat tail for years and can't help but smile every time I walk by.
