Unique Collector car home Fl Panhandle was created by memaerobilia
After reading all the posts in "What's parked next to your ACD car?" thread, I noted a lot of large personal auto collections. Due to age & Health, we are selling our unique, custom designed, award winning home, designed to house our 42 year collection of auto and aviation material and library. We had previously spent many tens of thousands storing them in a warehouse, after we moved South. Located in beautiful Florida Gulf Coast minutes from flour-fine white sand beaches, full shopping, hospitals best schools in state, 100s of restaruants, in Panhandle. 12 minutes from Commercial airport. Five minutes from grass strip airport, for plane owners. 12 minutes fom another Busineess airport catering to private and corporate jets.

The home is nearly 8000 sq ft, heated and cooled, especially designed with upper level garage for our two daily drivers. The lower level, with wall of windows looking out on a peaceful lake, teeming with waterfowl and wildlife, houses/housed our 5 vintage racing cars, and has provision for storing three MORE vehicles, all heated and cooled, with hundreds of feet of storage space that organized our approx 400 crates of parts, materials, rows of filing cabinets etc etc, The heated and cooled area is Very suitable for ongoin restoration and Maint. work and repairs. The main level and lower level have wide driveways of heavy cobblestone brick and wind around the side, to the lower lever door.

This space adjoins the formal library, which is approx 1000 sq ft, with custom designed floor-to-ceiling wood shelving and wood floors and fireplace. The library is specially wired in the floors and walls for all type of Internet/TV cable, as well as three diferent phone lines, this is next to a lounge area with wet bar and more display shelving. and there is a custom built/designed, nine-foot, Oak library 'work" desk in the center., plus space for hanginsg some of our former Smithsonian Museum art.

The home was built in 2003 and won First Place inThe Parade Of Homes, which featured the best of that year's custom home builders, in a wide area. We even won against a custom home builder who spent two years on his own home with no expense or feature, spared.

It is 4 bedroom, with 4 full baths and huge living room (wood flooring, throughout) Lots of custom bath tiling and walk in, in Master BR with sitting area by lake, and den and huge Special custom kitchen, all overlooking the lake. with large outside deck and sreened porch on the lake with many special features. Formal dining room with massive vintage chandelier and antique sconces, and other special features. All the bells & whistles, with special features everywhere you look. Many 8 foot doors and lots of 12' ceilings up to 14'.Breadfast area by lake, where sun rises in A.M. Many of the rooms overlooking the lake. Uncrowded, quality, 18 hole golf course, steps away, across the street. Free lawn & garden watering, from lake water pump. NOT in a flood area, so no special flood insurance required.

Wanting to move back near our grown kids and all our grandchildren, the home is now for sale by us (owners) priced at apprx Half of the Original Realtor's advertised listing, hoping to motivate an expeditious sale.
Can supply all photos, listing description, features etc. Home is free and clear. Waiting for a new collector who appreciates having all his cars, parts, collections, and work area, a few steps away, for daily enjoyment. and well protected.
