Check Hemmings and local classic car clubs for recommendations. You'll need to find a high end classic shop for quality metal work. Most importantly, CHECK REFERENCES! Don't rely on their portfolio.....talk to people who have had work done and check with the BBB for complaints. Many shops just MIG in a patch and then layer on Bondo to hide everything.......if it lasts 3-5 years they consider it a job well done.

Can anyone lead me to a good restoration shop in the NY CT area. I will need both mechanical and body work.

Thanks for your reply
