I noticed the Auburn pedal car in the introduction picture today. Looks like Auburn styling.
In the 30's Maytag washer machine company would sponsor parades and races featuring cars with Maytag motors. In 1931 Movie-tone news brought national attention to 50 Maytag cars racing at Salt Lake City's Liberty Park.
Maytag sold the cars to amusement parks and state fairs. Today they are highly sought after. Yours looks like was a lot of fun. See the kids in the picture? 3rd prize was a rifle! 2ond prize must have been the bicycle.
