What say Florap,
not an expert on replica speedsters, several different companies have made these replicas. Some are built on a full size ford chassis and have a ford 318 or 351 engine. these cars have all ford parts that can be redily replaced. Other speedsters i think use a gm chassis with a 350 chev engine. the perfered one i think is the glen pray model, the first one made, it used ford co chassis and a 460 ford engine, like was in lincolns and some mercurys. i think there was very few of these made from kits in the garage. i had a chance to drive one and was amazed at the size of the thing, was very well made and detailed. these cars come up on ebay from time to time, but arent cheap. might check speedstermotorcar.com
company making them now, they sometimes have used ones for sale.
hemmings motor news is a good place to look, or just google auburn speedster. may have noticed i dont do well with shift key.
good luck
