You can find these on eBay all the time. There's about half a dozen of them on eBay now.

The prices look like they are in the $10 to $15 range so your wife got a great deal! :D

ACD Ceramic Models was created by rfloch
My wife recently found these two ceramic ADC model cars at a swap meet for about a buck. They are about 8 inches long and marked "Handcrafted Avon 1983" ('32 Auburn) and "Handcrafted Avon 1984" ('37 Cord) on the underside and were made by a company called Ceramorte in Brazil. They apparently were made in two pieces and held some kind of scented stuff at one time (although these two are epoxied together)-- and are not too badly done considering they are cast ceramic and a commercial promotion (except for that strange round, L-29 looking thing in the middle of the Auburn radiator)......

Maybe someone is familiar with this old Avon series. If so, were there any other ACD cars in it?
