Hello every one, The distributer I used to change mine over from a 4 lobe to a 8 lobe was an old Buick strait 8 1930s .Delco Remy. I changed the plate holding the points, the 4 lobe cam. .Still using the old dist. the old cap. you would not know it has been changed over,,, but she does twice as good. I hope this makes some sense. Bob in England. PS. I think I should keep the old parts some one might want to change it back one day.. Bye for now
