Audi Kneisner in Braunschweig is the closest ACD member to Hamburg. He has a Cord phaeton. A great guy, talented engineer and does his own restoration/maintenance work. Phone 531-2611025 e-mail <a href="mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url] . Henry Portz

Hi Jim!
How can I find the 4 members in Germany? There is no function on memberlist to locate only countries.

I'm looking for clubs in Europe, too. But the only Club in Germany,
where you can find this cars is the "ASC -Allgemeiner Schnauferl-Club"

Hi Hagen,

I'm not up on all the Duesenberg bodys that were made but I think I remember seeing a photo of a Duesenberg with a body that has some similarities to a Cord.

Opening the hood should tell you right away. The Duesenberg should have a big straight 8 engine in it. The Cord will have a V-8 with the transmission in front of the radiator. Also if it's a Cord there should be two ID tags on the right side of the firewall cowl, with the hood open look right below the back of the hood in front of the pasenger (right side) door. The numbers from these plates will tell us a lot.

It is possible to get some photos of the car and post them, we'd be interested in seeing them.

I don't know of any clubs in Germany dedicated to Cords or Duesenbergs. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club is world wide. We do have 4 members in Germany as well as many more all over Europe.

Hello,

I need some enthusiasts help: has there ever been a Duesenberg looking like the Cord sedan? A friend of mine owns such a car which I thought to be a Cord but the type lable on the back reads Duesenberg....

Are there Duesenberg / Cord clubs in Europe, esp. Germany?

thanks,
