When asked his opinion on the racing cars built by W.O. Bentley, Ettore Bugatti remarked "Le camion plus vite du monde!" ("He builds the world's fastest lorries!")

It is J-182/2206.
Randy makes a good point, when you Google search Duesenberg LeBaron Phaeton, since there are more than one in this color scheme, it's a challenge to differentiate them without knowing the chassis or J number.

It looks to me like the photo you put up matches that of J-182 on Jack Curtright's site. I see a sticker on the right side of the windshield in both photos.

Unfortunately the resolution of that photo is such that I can't make it out. I'm hesitant to comment since I don't know much about Duesenbergs but it could also be J-149.

Yes It is a LeBaron DC phaeton and I think there are now three or four painted this color combination . Can you read the name on the Pebble Beach plate on the front bumper. R

I THINK the Derham Toursters have a second windshield that cranks up out of the back of the front seat. This one shows a folding second windshield.

Hello,
I am pretty sure that, that car is a sweep panel DCP.
It's possible that it is this (Le Baron) one - J-182 - www.duesey2208.com/Datasheets/Mo ... rm2206.htm
Cheers
Matt

Hi All!
Can you assist me with identifying this Model J?
It appears to be either a LeBaron/LaGrande Sweep Panel Phaeton or a Derham Tourster, however I can't see enough of the rear end to make a positive ID.
I'm specifically looking for the year, body type and J number if anyone can assist me, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
~ Brian
