If this has been asked/answered on here before, I apologize. I did search, but came up empty.

I was watching the 1939 film "Midnight" with Don Ameche, John Barrymore, etc. A Duesenberg roadster pulls up to the mansion. It kind of looked like an SJN, but then, it also seemed not to be. Sorry, but I have no photos. It sported what looked like 17-inch wheels with covers. The hood went all the way back to the windshield and had screens and sidepipes, the doors were hinged in the front, windwings that hinged and swung out with the doors.

Is this car known to exist? What is it?
Thanks.

Years ago I saw a picture of a "J"CC of some kind that had kissed a telephone pole and was badly damaged and I thought it was J198 with that remake body. It was in an old ACD NewsLetter maybe in the late 1980's or early 90's. I have never seen the movie called "Midnight". I did see J198 at Auburn years ago restores as a speedster and it looked good.
