Steve has a good point. Every car is somebody's pride and joy, so let's try and keep that in mind. Opinions are welcome (hey, I'm usually among the first to share them :D ) but keep them civil-ish.

No apology needed and no need for explanations.

Though while on the subject of keeping things off the public airwaves, recently on this forum there's been a certain amount of "Duesenberg bashing" that centers around a certain car. I decided to refrain from buying into the discussion.

I think the same courtesy and respect should be afforded to the new owner of that car and any other car that might be perceived as "less desireable", by avoiding any posts that don't cast a favorable light on a car.

Just my two cents worth.

Steve

The car was bought by an ACD Club member in Michigan and will probably be in Auburn in the near future.

To Steve Derus, who posted first: Sorry to have to delete the post with the owner's actual name, but in my experience, putting it out publicly just earns one a lot of grief, not all of it deserved. Until an owner makes a public declaration of owning a car - or displays it at a public show, which is, to my mind, the same thing - it is best to keep it off the public forum.

Steve deserves credit for helping first.
