I saw at least 3 ~~~possibly 4 ?
Also a great Auburn .
In addition to various Rolls~Royce, Packard, & Cadillac full Classics,
Tom Mix in this movie's plot when asked by Wyatt Earp claims to own 16 autos .
Exactly how many Auburn, Cord , or Duesenberg autos did Tom Mix actually really own during his lifetime ?
"SUNSET" is on Verizon Fios cable, as well as Comcast Xfinity Cable all month.
The move is Free on the Encore On-Demand channel.

This is a fictional story about Tom Mix & Wyatt Earp supposedly making a Hollywood Movie. Mix (Willis) plays Wyatt Earp & Earp (Garner) is the movie's technical advisor.
There are quite a few great model "J" Duesenbergs featured in this movie, as well as several Rolls~Royces, an Auburn, several Packards, a Cadillac, and many other great old Full Classic cars.
No Duesenbergs e harmed in this movie ~~~But a Classic Rolls-Royce flys off a dock and takes a bath + sinks.
This movie is a Must-See for all ACD Duesenberg fans.
The movie is well worth watching for the unusual plot itself~~~as well as for the great number of Full Classic Autos featured in it;
Especially a number of Duesenbergs .
James Garner is as amusing & charming as always ~~~and this is one of Bruce Willis's better films in my opinion.
Do any forum members know any of these autos ?
What Model "J" Duesenbergs are featured ?
What is the actual Real history of these great Duesenberg "J"s ?
Who do you think supplied these great autos for this unusual film ?
Are they all from one large museum collection ?
Hello,
one of the Duesenberg, a Murphy Convertible Sedan, is the same car, which appeared in the Rock Hudson/James Dean/Dennis Hopper movie "Giant".
If I got it right, it is Car 2374, J-204, (ex J-355)

Movie companys seem to have no respect for Classic autos.
