We saw the car recently while in the NW. It's a beauty. I believe there was an in depth article written about it a few years ago in the CCCA's 'The Classic Car'

So Jim, what are you doing watching a gay movie?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D

Seriously, thanks for the tip. I just ordered a copy of the movie at amazon for $2.41. :) And I'm not gay or even divorced.

Jim .That is J108 sold to the Robinson Dept store owners in LA when new, it has a unusual peak molding in the body that runs down the back center. It is currently in the Pacific northwest where it has been for quite a while. Did you see the Murphy bodied Bugatti towards the end of the movie ? . Randy

At this moment, I am watching this movie on Turner Classic Movies.

So far, there have been some scenes involving a Duesenberg J Convertible Coupe.

There was a GREAT scene of Ginger Rogers driving the Duesenberg being chased by Fred Astaire in an MG.

I'm curious if any of you Duesenberg Guys know anything about the Duesenberg in this movie.

Thanks and Happy New Year.

Jim
