Sounds like there is reason to be suspicious. Thank you both for the responses. Elijah I look forward to hearing your father's opinion. I wonder if there is any way to determine definitively when the logo was applied to the watch face?

Duesenberg Pocket Watch was created by Justin Kerns
Hello,

I have stumbled upon an old pocket watch by Howard with the Duesenberg 8 logo on the face. It is a 14k gold watch. Did the factory have these made as a promotion or advertising item? Is anyone familiar with the history and value of these watches?

Thanks in advance for any insight!
