I was going to tell you earlier, but forgot, the Duesenberg engine green can be gotten Bill Hirsch on the east coast. You can do a pretty good match starting with apple green.

Your transmission should red primer, the engine green. Almost all the restorers paint the starter and generator green, but they were a lot of times black. the only Duesenberg we have with original paint the frame matches the body. The car is black. Most of the restored cars the frame matches the darker body color.

This is a follow up to my original message about original colors of the Deusenbergs.
Can someone tell me if the chassis and engine colors were different or were they all the same color when they were ordered and purchased?
I am building scale models and want to be as accurate as possible.
Thanks to whomever is willing to help me.
