yes, those cars are totally unrelated.

But donating will be something I will talk to the family about. I am really trying hard to be able to come to the ACD Festival this year. I think I was in 3rd grade when I went last time. It's been a looooong time.

Like Stan said up above.... contact Laura and Matt at the ACD Museum, I'm sure they will be honored to meet you, as would anyone in the ACD Club as well.

Take care and hope to see you in Auburn!

As always... the town is getting ready. They've painted street curbs yellow, tore up some roads and hopefully they'll be done by Labor Day. especially since they tore up the road in front of my house and it's a newer street.

I'm pretty sure it was cadillac based. I'll have to check again.

I have so many pictures of the car. When I get the chance, I will scan them in and email them to you asap.

I also have some other stuff from that car. I have a personal letter that Pete DePaolo sent to my grandpa wishing him and his brother kenneth good luck, etc. I'm sure once we are ready to go through more of his things, the history will keep coming out. I plan to make a book in his name using the items he has. (profits of course going to charitable causes).

I'm glad I found this board. I'm sure I'll be learning a lot from all of you.
